Planning your season

When to Book Christmas Light Installation in Northeast Florida

Why the calendar fills early, what the free consultation covers, and what to have ready when you call.

The short answer is as early as you can. Our calendar fills up quickly every season, and the homeowners and businesses who call first get priority scheduling and the widest choice of install dates. If you are reading this in October or later, there is no better moment coming. Call now.

Why the calendar fills before any lights go up

Holiday lighting is booked well before it is hung. Before a single strand goes up, every job needs a consultation, a custom design and a quote, and each of those takes a slot on the calendar before the installation itself does.

Then there is timing. Nearly everyone wants their lights up for the same stretch of the year, between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so the demand arrives all at once. A crew can only be on one roof at a time, and the open dates go to whoever asked first.

For businesses the window is tighter still. Commercial installs are scheduled around operating hours, tenants and site access, so storefronts, offices, restaurants and HOAs have fewer workable dates to choose from. If you run a business, treat early as essential, not optional.

What happens at the free design consultation

Every residential installation starts with a free on-site or virtual design consultation. We walk your property, or review photos if that suits you better, and plan the lighting around your home's actual lines: rooflines, gables, windows, columns, and the trees and shrubs in your yard.

We also talk through the look you want, whether that is classic warm white, multicolor or a themed combination. Then you get a professional design and a detailed, itemized, no-obligation estimate before any work begins.

The price depends on the linear footage of your roofline, the number and size of trees or shrubs you want wrapped, the height and pitch of your home, and how elaborate the design is. That is why we quote after the consultation, not before.

What to have ready when you call

A few details make the first conversation faster and the quote more accurate:

  • The number of stories. It decides the equipment and crew a job needs, which is why the estimate form asks for it.
  • A few photos from the street. Straight on and from each corner of the yard. They are especially useful for a virtual consultation.
  • The trees and shrubs you want lit. Roughly how many and how tall.
  • A color preference. Warm white, multicolor or a theme, even if you are undecided.
  • A rough budget. It helps shape a design you will actually want to say yes to.

What booking gets you

Booking early changes when your lights go up, not what is included. Every installation comes with the same full season of service:

  • Professional installation. Our trained technicians handle the ladder work and wiring, test every strand and set the timers before they leave.
  • Maintenance all season. If a light goes out mid-season, we come back and fix it at no extra charge.
  • Removal and storage. After the holidays we take everything down, then pack, label and store your lights so they are ready for next season.

Calling later in the season

Call anyway. The only way to find out whether there is still room is to ask, and we will tell you plainly where the calendar stands. Estimate requests get a reply within 24 hours.
